Is TV host Valerie Concepcion planning to leave her home studio and jump ship too like other artists?
Concepcion has revealed that she is open to doing that as long as she’ll get to do what she wants to do.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Concepcion shared that her wish for the future is for her to have more hosting jobs.
“More hosting jobs. Wish ko another hosting job,” she said.
Asked if she is going to join TV 5, the TV host answered: “Kung saan may trabaho! Huwag na tayo magpaka-plastic. Kung sa'n may trabaho, 'dun na tayo,” said Concepcion.
She also hinted that she wants to experience hosting a prime time show. “Gusto ko ma-experience [ang] prime time hosting. I'm not closing my doors to any [network],” she said.
Concepcion used to work with TV host Willie Revillame in the now defunct ABS-CBN show “Wowowee.” Revillame has since transferred to TV 5.
Concepcion also joked around when asked for her message for Revillame. “Kuya, ipaabot mo naman sa akin ang Christmas bonus! Echos,” she said.
From Belo to Calayan
Meanwhile, although Concepcion did not confirm if she is really transferring to another network, she disclosed that she has left Belo Medical Group, which she was endorsing, for Calayan Surgicentre.
“When I was with GMA, Calayan ako. When I'm with ABS kay Belo ako. Now I'm back kay Calayan,” she related.
Concepcion divulged that there are no ill feelings between her and cosmetic surgeon Vicky Belo. She shared that she properly asked permission from Belo and it’s just coincidental that her contract with the medical group was about to end.
“Nagpaalam naman ako kay Dra. Belo. Sabi ni Dra. Belo okay lang kung tingin ko mas comfortable ako pag babalik kay Calayan. Sakto mag-end na contract ko kay Dra. Belo,” she explained.
She, however, refused to compare the two surgeons. “Puwede, wala ng comparison?” she pleaded.
