Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo’s personal assistant and friend has come to her defense via microblogging site Twitter.
This is in connection with Cristine Reyes’s angry tweets, which many believe are aimed at the singer-actress.
According to Anna Dasig, Reyes shouldn’t have given meaning to Geronimo’s purported statement about how a man is always being chased by a sexy woman if he is a good dancer.
Based on the sultry actress's tweets, it was that remark that caught her ire.
“@PilyangSweet nagbibiruan lang sila ni john pratts kanina..ewan ko kung bakit kailangan mong mag react ng over ng ganito? Relax ka lang! Alamin mo muna kung ano ang puno't-dulo bago ka magreact ng ganyan,” she tweeted.
Showbiz insiders said Geronimo purportedly made the remark during the dress rehearsals for musical variety show “ASAP XV.”
The show's mainstays - Prats, Gab Valenciano, and Rayver Cruz - were reportedly rehearsing a dance number. Cruz was both linked to Reyes and Geronimo, lead star of the now defunct television series “Idol.”
Prats also said he sees nothing wrong with Geronimo’s remark. He hopes that the 2 can patch things up especially now that Christmas is near.
ABS-CBN News tried to get a statement from Star Magic, talent management of Cruz, but it declined to comment on the issue.
Cristine maintains stance
Reyes, on the other hand, refused to accept Dasig’s explanation.
“At @Annadasig yung alaga mo pagsabihan mo wag ako! nananahimik ako,” she tweeted.“@annadasig wag siya kamo MAGBIRO ng Ganun Kung alam niya may pinaparinggan siya!”
She added: "@annadasig at kapag magpaparinig man o magbibiro make sure its true! kasi alam mo naman na siya ang halos mamatay na sa kakahahol. Diba?”
This is not the first time that Reyes was involved in a quarrel with a fellow celebrity.
