Currently busy promoting her MMFF movie Ang Tanging Ina Mo: Last Na ‘To! and RPG Metanoia, Eugene Domingo isn’t complaining about her singlehood. In the latest and reportedly last installment of the Tanging Ina series, she is paired onscreen with Fil-Brit hunk Jon Avila. The talented comedienne even admitted she is keeping her options open, even to ideas like adopting someday.

After a vacation in New York where she watched Broadway and off-Broadway plays, Eugene said she has started making plans to go back to school, do more quality films, and see more of the world in the coming years. I want to travel. Sana mabigyan ako ng chance gumawa nginternational film or international TV project. Kahit extra lang. Gustong-gusto ko. Na-aadik ako sa mga ganung plano eh,” she shared.

A visibly refreshed Eugene also shared how much she enjoyed her recent vacation abroad. “I always enjoy traveling. First time ko makapag-bakasyon na autumn so ang ganda-ganda ng mga puno, ang sarap magpa-picture. Linubos-lubos ko narin makanuod ng plays. Ang dami kong nakitang artista. Nakita ko si Anne Hathaway at si Glenn Close. Madami akong pinanuod na plays. Meron akong best friend doon na costume and set designer. Pinanuod ko Angels in America ng dalawang gabi. Bumabalik kami kasi anim na oras yung play!” she said. Eugene is also working hard to save up for one big trip she plans to take in the future. “Ang pinag-iipunan ko talaga ng husto yung sana makapag-experience ako to spend one whole year, all four seasons in another country. In what country, I still do not know.

For 2011, Eugene shared that she is excited for production to start on the sequel to her hit comedy Kimmy Dora. This is supposed to be more hilarious and gagawa tayo ng iba pang genre. This time, it’s a surprise. We will start shooting at the first quarter of next year, among other films,” she said.

This will be a busy time for Eugene both professionally and personally as she is also taking care of renovations on her home. “Pinapaayos ko lang. It’s a work in progress. Marami akong assignment. Bukod sa pag-attend ng mgaparty, tatanggap ng mga regalo, it’s time to fix our stuff and write our Christmas wishes,” she said.
