Star cager James Yap is set to shoot a cameo role in “Dalaw,” Queen of All Media Kris Aquino confirmed on Tuesday.
During the press conference of her upcoming movie, Aquino revealed that her estranged husband agreed to do a cameo role when she asked him to. She said they needed a hunk in the movie and she thought of Yap.
“[He] will do a part tomorrow. Tinanong ko lang siya tapos pumayag naman... We needed a hunk eh, ‘di my ex-husband na lang at maraming maraming salamat sa kanya,” she said.Aquino also shared that she feels Yap decided to do the role since they are at a good point of their lives right now despite the ongoing annulment of their marriage.
In the same interview, Aquino divulged that she already recieved a court’s decision that issued a gag order on her and Yap, preventing them both from speaking on the annulment case.
“The fact is lawyers make it very difficult because it’s part of their job and I understand that kasi kung okay naman ang lahat bakit kayo maghihiwalay di ba? As a couple pwede kayong maging okay talaga kapag na-transcend niyo na. On my part, lahat siguro ng mga hinanakit, ng mistakes on his part, his disappointment in me in giving up. So parang okay na,” she said.
Aquino called on the public to watch her movie “Dalaw.” This is her first movie after 4 years, following her first 2 blockbuster horror films.
“This is my come back. I have not done a film in 4 years and I am following 2 that were really blockbuster so siyempre ang lakas ng pressure talaga na sana ang wish ko kung hindi man mapantayan, ma-in between man lang,” she said.
“December 25 please please please tangkilin niyo po. Siyempre buhayin natin ang sarili nating mga pelikula, ang sariling atin pero sana po bigyan niyo ng special na pansin ang Dalaw,” she added.
