Young actor Gerald Anderson has declined to comment on the reported budding romance between hunk actor Zanjoe Marudo and actress Bea Alonzo.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday during his rehearsal for a Cebu concert, Anderson said he has nothing to do with whatever Alonzo and Marudo have.
“Labas na ako diyan. Lahat naman kami nagmo-move on. Marami kaming napagdaanan noong 2010. But ngayon 2011 na, so move on na lang kami,” he said.
The young actor also stressed that as Marudo and Alonzo’s friend, he supports the two if they are indeed dating. “Pareho naman sila mabait, si Z and Bea. Pareho naman sila mabait so okay lang.”
Just recently, Marudo and Alonzo were romantically linked as many have seen the two together in several places.
In November, Alonzo was rumored to be the cause of Anderson and Kim Chiu's alleged break-up. Anderson later admitted that he dated Alonzo, but they decided to remain just friends.
Marudo, on the other hand, is the former boyfriend of actress-host Mariel Rodriguez, who is now married to action star Robin Padilla.
Excited for 2011
Love life aside, Anderson told ABS-CBN News that he wishes to focus on his career this 2011.
“Sa ngayon wala akong love life pero ang focus ko ngayon trabaho ko. Wala pa, tsaka wala pa sa isip ko yan. Siyempre lahat naman tayo open. Hindi ko naman sinasarado ang doors ko pero sa ngayon gusto ko lang magtrabaho,” he related.
Anderson further shared that he and his new leading lady, Jewel Mische, have already started doing workshops for their upcoming television series.
According to him, both of them instantly felt comfortable with each other, and he sees that as an advantage since it will make their tapings seamless.
He also assured Mische that she is in good hands and that the real Kimerald fans will definitely support him and Chiu as well as their respective future on-screen partners.
