Young actor Gerald Anderson on Wednesday belied rumors claiming he was spotted in a mall buying an engagement ring.
“Showbiz News Ngayon” (SNN) got the rumor from a Twitter user who claimed that he saw Anderson in a jewelry store recently.
He also suspected that the actor bought the ring for young actress Kim Chiu.
SNN immediately sought for Anderson’s reaction over the report.
“Wala. Sa schedule ko nga hindi na ako nakakapunta sa mall. Hindi, hindi. Nagfo-focus muna ako sa trabaho ko. Never ako bumili ng alahas... pag-iipunan ko pa yan, matagal pa yon,” he said.
The actor earlier told ABS-CBN News that he thinks the “Kimerald” tamdem will not be taken apart anytime soon.
"Hindi pa naman tapos ang 'Kimerald' siyempre. Ako, open pa naman akong gumawa ng mga future projects," he said.
Anderson is busy working on his television series and movie with Jewel Mische and Sarah Geronimo, respectively.
