As early as now, viewers are already excited about the kilig love teams in the teleseryes that ABS-CBN will launch within the first quarter of 2011. First in line is the reunion of Maja Salvador and Coco Martin inMinsan Lang Kita Iibigin where they would play ill-fated lovers who get separated because of their warring families and their careers. Adding spice to their team-up is Andi Eigenmann who’ll also play a significant part in the story.
Jericho Rosales will be working with Anne Curtis inGreen Rose where they will get entangled in a web of deceit, greed, and betrayal. Jake Cuenca will further cause conflicts in the story since he is determined to keep Jericho and Anne apart. They’ve been working on the series since last year and are scheduled to shoot in Korea for some crucial scenes soon.
Many are also watching out for the team-up of Gerald Anderson and Jewel Mische in the action-packed teleserye Bagwis. Gerald is reportedly training hard for his fight scenes to keep himself in top shape. Since this is his first full-length series without perennial leading lady Kim Chiu, it’s interesting to see if he’ll also develop a strong on screen chemistry with Jewel. Jewel made her debut as a Kapamilya in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya.
Kim, on the other hand, is paired up with Matteo Guidicelli in Binondo Girl. The two have already worked together in an episode of Your Song Presents Kim last January 2 and it looks like their team-up has a lot of potential according to avid Kimerald fans. Their only wish though is for Matteo to brush up on his Tagalog know-how so that more viewers could relate to him.
