Actress-host Toni Gonzaga finally spoke on the issue saying that she will be doing a movie project with Comedy Prince Vic Sotto.
In a message sent to "Showbiz News Ngayon", Gonzaga bared that she and Sotto will have a meeting for the said project.
She also expressed her excitement to work with Sotto if ever the movie will push through.
"Magkaka-meeting na kasi kami. Siyempre nakakatuwa at nakakataba ng puso na makatrabaho ang mga haligi ng pelikulang Pilipino," Gonzaga said.
If everything will turn out OK, the movie will be the reunion project of Gonzaga and Sotto since the singer-actress was once a co-host of "Eat Bulaga."
The movie will be the comeback project of Sotto with Star Cinema after 14 years.
Sotto's last movie with Star Cinema was "Biyudo Si Daddy, Biyuda si Mommy" in 1997.
The said film was co-produced by Sotto's M-Zet film outfit.
Report also has it that child star Zaijan Jaranilla will be part of the Gonzaga-Sotto reunion project.
In a previous interview, Jaranilla confirmed that he will do a movie with the Prince of Comedy.
"Magkakaroon po ako ng new movie. Ang kasama ko po dito ay si Bossing (Vic Sotto). Excited na excited na po ako," Jaranilla said.
The child actor talked about his upcoming project with Sotto when he renewed his contract with ABS-CBN.
Currently, Jaranilla is busy taping for "Noah" with actor Piolo Pascual.
Jaranilla dubbed for the country's first 3D animated film "RPG Metanoia" while Sotto is now happy with the success of his Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote" with Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr.
