Sarah Geronimo was Sharon Cuneta’s final guest at the latter’s birthday concert last Tuesday, (January 11) and they did a medley of some of the current hit songs. Sarah became close to the Megastar through Judy Ann Santos, who is a long-time close friend of Sharon’s.

The Pop Star Princess expressed how privileged she is to be friends with someone as famous as the Megastar. “Nasa kanya na lahat, loved by million fans, friends, at siyempre ako I’m very, very happy at nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon na mapalapit sa nag-iisangSharon Cuneta,” Sarah said. For Sharon’s birthday, Sarah wished the host-actress good health and happiness. “Of course ang support naman at pagmamahal from us—kaming mga tagahanga niya at kaibigan niya—kapamilya din niya [ayhindi ‘yan mawawala. ‘Yun lang po.

Sarah also added that she is deeply touched by Sharon’s defense of her on negative feedbacks and criticisms when she recently got involved in a controversy with Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz. “Sabi ko nga sino ba ako? Hindi pa ako ganun kakilala ni Ms. Sharon pero grabe ‘yung pagmamahal niya bilang kaibigan. Grabe talaga sobrang napaka-generous.”  She, however, refused to give any comment about her rift with Cristine.

The young singer also shared that she got excited when she heard about Sharon’s plan to name a cake recipe after her. Sarah added that this means a lot to her and that she could not thank Sharon enough for the care the latter gives her.

She revealed that she recently met up with Gerald Anderson together with the staff of their upcoming movie. Although some of the fans of the Gerald-Kim Chiu tandem are known to be overly protective of duo to the point of issuing death threats, Sarah is optimistic that her onscreen partnership with the actor won’t fuel any anger. “Basta good vibes lang talaga lahat,” said Sarah.

The singer-actress shared that she enjoyed this past Christmas season and her bonding time with her family. “Masayang-masaya,” was how she described it.
